Our History
Taris was founded on a straightforward premise: that real estate, approached with discipline and a long horizon, is one of the most reliable vehicles for building and preserving wealth. Every milestone in our history reflects that conviction.
Purchased our first office building — the foundation of what would become the Taris portfolio.
Acquired our first large multifamily project, expanding into residential income property.
Purchased a house that had been converted to office space with the intention to redevelop — demolishing the structure and constructing a new two-storey office building in its place.
When COVID struck, every property in the portfolio was maintained without governmental assistance — a direct result of our conservative underwriting and cash flow discipline. Later that year, completed the office development and finalized permanent financing on the property.

Demetri Tsohantaridis
Founder & Principal
Demetri spent 17 years as an attorney, building and developing his real estate holdings in parallel throughout that time. After leaving law, he shifted his full focus to real estate — founding Taris on the conviction that disciplined underwriting and long-term ownership produce better outcomes than chasing market cycles. He oversees all acquisitions, asset management, and investment decisions.
